Working hard for the kingdom

Working hard for the kingdom

Today and the last few days weve been hired to build a fence. Its been pretty hard sweaty work no dought. We had to bust threw 2 inches of concrete by hand and dig down 20 inches for each hole. But all in all its been working out. The best part of this job is the owner of the land. He came up to us yesterday and burton immediately noticed who he was. By the way before this we had not idea because we were hired by his tenant. She never told us about him or who he was. So he comes up and burton says “ are you Warren Daniel ?” He says “yes ” so there he is Senator warren daniel , burton remembered his face from all the political mail we got. Anyhow it turned out his father owned the farm we were working on. We had to give him our number and he asked“are yall brothers?” Burton said were not related in the flesh but we are related by the blood of jesus christ. He smiled at that and the brother gave him the paper “ the anti church ” a pretty stiff rebuke to modern christians to say the least. What a blessing God worked it out to be able to witness to him on the job.

Just passing through......

Just passing through.......

Pilgrim's have lots of resources to invest because they travel light. An American tourist once paid a visit to the renowned polish rabbi Hofetz Chaiam. He was astonished to see that the rabbi had a simple room, with a few books, plus a table and a cot. the puzzled American asked“,My ! Where is your furniture?” Hofetz replied, “Where is yours?” “ Huh,” was the reply,“ I am just a tourist, I am just here passing through.” the rabbi replied,“So am I ”.

I was reminded of this story this morning fron the Our world and our wealth article from the new remnant mag. What a blessing.

Hi,
This is our friend Elijah.  He came to visit us a couple months ago and was helping us here with some dishes after baby Hosanna's birth.  Elijah is a homeless preacher.  He travels from place to place preaching with signs, tracts, and testimonies (and stops by to see us from time to time).  He holds a special place in our hearts.  We met Elijah about a year and a half ago.  We had some disagreements on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount teachings and sadly He left frustrated and discouraged.  To our elation and praise to God, he returned almost a year later!!! What a blessing.  Jesus had been working in his heart and life.  Elijah had changed his mind, dropped dispensationalism, and saw that Jesus did mean what He said in the Sermon on the Mount for us today.  Elijah says that now Jesus is teaching him how to endure persecution and giving him a love in his heart that was never there before.

We are encouraged that Jesus (Yeshua) can reach and work with souls anywhere in the world.  He can take a hardened frustrated heart, melt it, and remold it into a vessel that will bring Him glory.  We are encouraged that there are souls willing to change their mind when they see what the Creator of the universe has to say.  Yeshua bless Elijah. We hope he is well wherever he is, and is continuing to allow Jesus to change his heart and mind, enduring until the end.
