God is so good to us ! I know that might sound strange but it really feels like this great window of opportunity is opening up for us. We are trained by grace to be careful for nothing but to pray and ask the Lord for his help in time of need. We understand that times like these can be a real place for God to manifest His glory and strength. But its also a great time and opportunity for us to prove the sincerity of our love and be of faith. We so much want to stay together as a community but there are some real challanges. I know the red sea splitting in two was more of a challange than this so we will continue to march on into deliverance however the Lord sees fit. Please pray for us brethren !

Our vision for Kingdom minded Christians working better together is, Living communally :
One of our biggest encouragements for living communally is Jesus living communally with His apostles; and the apostle’s testimony of living communally after Jesus resurrection.
Jesus probably had very good reasons for living closely with the brothers and we can see many benefits as well.

Now living communally can be described a number of different ways. However, the closer the body is one to another the faster things can get done.
But, not so close to where family lines are blurred and brothers cannot be the head of their own households.
One practical example would be to share a large piece of land just outside a bigger city, with individual dwellings and possibly some communal structures.
A good addition to that should be to rent a house inside that nearby big city to use as a hub for inner city ministry. This house should be fully supported by the community as their main outlet for the community’s inner city missions.

We have experienced manifold blessings in living very close to one another here on Zion Road even when our living situations have not been ideal.
Some ways to how living communally can help further the Kingdom of God.

Living communally can further the kingdom of God in many ways both physically and spiritually. For example: Physically Sharing resources that is ( tools ,vehicles, food, experience, like sisters helping sisters sew, brothers helping brothers build and work, splitting the cost of living and gas for witnessing ). We can spend less time working for physical needs and more time working for the kingdom in our lives and in others.

Spiritually We can practically carry out and be more accountable to the commandments of Jesus like loving each other, dying to ourselves daily, and giving to one another.

We can meet more frequently to pray and study the Word of God.

This proximity allows brothers to encourage and edify one another face to face on a daily basis. And this we believe will help Kingdom minded Christians further the Kingdom of God.

We should always be willing to connect with those who accept and live out the doctrine of Christ. Lest we become un-Christ-like. While at the same time most of our energy will be poured into our local fellowship.

Just as the church at Ephesus was connected to the church in Corinth, we yearn for the body of Christ to be free from pride and a overbearing emphasis on the opinions of men. That the Spirit of truth and humility would shine like a city on a hill and turn the world upside down.

Daniel giving his life to christ. The cost is everthing and the rewards are eternal. May the spirit keep this brother walking in the light , and newness of life. We are hoping to see more souls this summer making the commitment, and partaking in the hope of reconciliation. However the laborers are few and the narrow road which leads to life is steep and hard to travel. Count the cost for what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul ? Isnt it worth forsaking our short time on earth to live for God and others ? Isnt it a blessing to stand by Yeshua and suffer reproach with him then to be esteemed by mortal men ? If you witnessed the crucifixion and Yeshua looked down, and he beckoned you to come up on the cross, would you not gladly? let us suffer with him that we may also reign with him !

We never really know for sure what the day may bring forth. We wake up we pray we set out. Often times its very predictable, long stretches of highway with wind and sun. We should be in oregon by the weekend and we look forward to seeing the brothers there. Br. Burton is just about to cross the country with his family so lets all remember to pray for him. A host of inspiring thoughts have crossed my mind these days, one id like to share if I may is. The birds that live in cages are well fed and taken care of, however they lack their freedom. While the birds who are free have a harder life style but again they are free to fly and be led by the wind. I often wounder what type of lifestyle the master truly wants us to live. I can see the stable home good for a family and children. And I can see the day to day travels good for a mans soul and his faith. Is it to radical of an idea to somehow balence the two together ?

We will be keeping this blog and hopefully it will be getting a makeover soon. I traded for a laptop and so maybe I can spend a little more time with the posts. And also I think others will want to be a part of it so there will be different perspectives and healthy opinions. We have been really buzy closing down this camp and havent had much time to post as we are preparing to move to oregon. We are coming from north carolina and thinking of a number of stops, if anyone has some ideas or familys we should visit along the way let us know.

I would, brothers and sisters, that we all could imitate the pearl oyster. A hurtful particle intrudes itself into its shell, and this vexes and grieves it. It cannot eject the evil, and what does it do but cover it with a precious substance extracted out of its own life, by which it turns the intruder into a pearl. oh that we could do so with the provocations we receive from our fellow Christians, so that pearls of patience, gentleness, long suffering, and forgiveness might be bred with in us by that which else had harmed us.

Its nice to meet new friends. The misko family has 10 children ! They are some of the most well behaved children I have ever seen. May God use them for his glory. The meeting was on the importance of enduring to the end. Not giving up on each other or God when affliction and trials or persecution arise. True love will bear the burdens of the weak ...consider jesus on the cross “ Father forgive them for they know not what they do. ”

First off there is a new brother with us and he is a real blessing. We are getting back into the swing of things after the summer road trip. We are looking forward to a possiable move next year. Where ?... thats a good question, we are waiting for God to show us what to do. We are thankful for the many offers all over the country and diligently considering them all. we are hoping for God's will to manifest itself and to be unavoidable. Its a real blessing to have something worth waiting for.

Today and the last few days weve been hired to build a fence. Its been pretty hard sweaty work no dought. We had to bust threw 2 inches of concrete by hand and dig down 20 inches for each hole. But all in all its been working out. The best part of this job is the owner of the land. He came up to us yesterday and burton immediately noticed who he was. By the way before this we had not idea because we were hired by his tenant. She never told us about him or who he was. So he comes up and burton says “ are you Warren Daniel ?” He says “yes ” so there he is Senator warren daniel , burton remembered his face from all the political mail we got. Anyhow it turned out his father owned the farm we were working on. We had to give him our number and he asked“are yall brothers?” Burton said were not related in the flesh but we are related by the blood of jesus christ. He smiled at that and the brother gave him the paper “ the anti church ” a pretty stiff rebuke to modern christians to say the least. What a blessing God worked it out to be able to witness to him on the job.

Pilgrim's have lots of resources to invest because they travel light. An American tourist once paid a visit to the renowned polish rabbi Hofetz Chaiam. He was astonished to see that the rabbi had a simple room, with a few books, plus a table and a cot. the puzzled American asked“,My ! Where is your furniture?” Hofetz replied, “Where is yours?” “ Huh,” was the reply,“ I am just a tourist, I am just here passing through.” the rabbi replied,“So am I ”.

I was reminded of this story this morning fron the Our world and our wealth article from the new remnant mag. What a blessing.

Hi,

This is our friend Elijah. He came to visit us a couple months ago and was helping us here with some dishes after baby Hosanna's birth. Elijah is a homeless preacher. He travels from place to place preaching with
signs, tracts, and testimonies (and stops by to see us from time to time). He holds a special place in our hearts. We met Elijah about a year and a half ago. We had some disagreements on Jesus’ Sermon on
the Mount teachings and sadly He left frustrated and discouraged. To our elation and praise to God, he returned
almost a year later!!! What a blessing.
Jesus had been working in his heart and life. Elijah had changed his mind, dropped
dispensationalism, and saw that Jesus did mean what He said in the Sermon on
the Mount for us today. Elijah says that
now Jesus is teaching him how to endure persecution and giving him a love in
his heart that was never there before.

We are encouraged that Jesus (Yeshua) can reach and
work with souls anywhere in the world.
He can take a hardened frustrated heart, melt it, and remold it into a
vessel that will bring Him glory. We are
encouraged that there are souls willing to change their mind when they see what
the Creator of the universe has to say.
Yeshua bless Elijah. We hope he is well wherever he is, and is
continuing to allow Jesus to change his heart and mind, enduring until the end.
